Il saggio si propone di mettere a fuoco due questioni fondamentali. La prima riguarda l’evoluzione dell’identità personale e linguistica di Nancy Huston e i suoi esiti. La seconda, più specifica, indaga alcune caratteristiche della pratica autotraduttiva condotta dalla scrittrice in Lignes de faille e si propone di dimostrare come essa si intrecci sia con la finzione del romanzo sia con l’evoluzione appena menzionata.
Linguistic Deviation in Lignes de faille by Nancy Huston
The present study is focused on two main questions: the author’s evolution of the personal and linguistic identity and its results, and the analysis of some characteristics of self-translation practice in Lignes de faille.
