Quella canadese è una letteratura femminile in continua evoluzione, stimolata nel suo dinamismo dalla composizione multietnica in cui si situa, e dal livello della riflessione teorica sulle donne. Così la letteratura di Mary di Michele, qui solo in parte analizzata, è costantemente tesa a sconfinare i solchi del silenzio e della duplicità.
Mary Di Michele’s Early Poems
Female Canadian Literature is constantly evolving thanks to the stimulus of the multiethnic society in which it develops and of the ongoing theoretical debate on women. In this context, Mary Di Michele’s early poetry is always trying to go beyond silence and duplicity.
