Nuestro objetivo es el de analizar un corpus representativo de poesías de Language Duel / Duelo del lenguaje (2002) de Rosario Ferré, una obra en la que la autora se autotradujo del inglés al español y en la que reflexiona acerca de la experiencia de vivir entre dos lenguas, la escritura, el exilio y la condición femenina.
Language Duel / Duelo del lenguaje by Rosario Ferré. A case of self-translation
Our goal is to analyse a representative corpus of poems from Language Duel / Duelo del lenguaje (2002) by Rosario Ferré, a work in which the author translated herself from English to Spanish and in which she reflects on the experience of living among two languages, writing, exile and the feminine condition.

Obiettivo del saggio è quello di analizzare un corpus significativo di poesie tratte da Language Duel / Duelo del lenguaje (2002) di Rosario Ferré, un’opera in cui l’autrice si autotradusse dall’inglese in spagnolo e in cui riflette sull’esperienza di vivere tra due lingue, sulla scrittura, sull’esilio e sulla condizione femminile.
