Interrotto l’asse della memoria, per gli scrittori di seconda o terza generazione il rapporto con l’Italia e la sua cultura diventa un atto volontaristico che si può scegliere di realizzare nella scrittura, mettendo in rilievo tematiche e problematiche diverse a seconda della sensibilità, come succede per Poloni, oppure, come accade per D’Apollonia, resta un dato di fatto storico e genealogico esterno alla scrittura che non influenza l’atto poetico che da questa italianità si astrae.
Migrant Writers from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Quebec
Second- and third-generation writers often face the relationship with Italy and its culture as a voluntary act in their writing, where they highlight different themes and problems according to their sensitivity. In the works of Poloni and D’Apollonia, for example, this relationship is dealt with on an abstract level: it remains a historical and genealogical fact that does not enter the poetic act.
