Pasolini and the suffering rose of his poetry
We present a selection of poems from Poesia in forma di rosa, perhaps the most perfect poetry book by Pasolini. These poems were published in Spanish in Venezuela 1992, with the publisher Pequeña Venecia, but that book is now out of print. In this brief choice it is possible to appreciate the intense passion with which Pasolini lived both the collective (the historical Italian process) and the privacy (his homosexual condition and his bond with his mother), as well as his renewal of poetic language in tune with the new Italian avant-garde.
