Este trabajo propone estudiar las configuraciones de los espacios naturales y sociales de Argentina vinculados con la ‘e(in)migración’ italiana en un corpus de libros de viaje que comprende In America (1897) de Edmondo De Amicis, Vita Italiana nell’Argentina I-II (1899-1903) de Francesco Scardin y L’Argentina vista come è de Luigi Barzini (1902).
Spaces and Territories of Argentina and the Communities of Italian ‘E(im)migrants’. Representations and Voices of Italian Travelers (1897-1903)
This work proposes to study the configurations of the natural and social spaces of Argentina linked to Italian ‘e(im)migration’ in a corpus of travel books that includes In America (1897) by Edmondo De Amicis, Vita Italiana nell’Argentina I-II (1899-1903) by Francesco Scardin and L’Argentina vista come è (1902) by Luigi Barzini.
