El ensayo se centra en la capacidad de la escritura de traducir la realidad y al mismo tiempo de inventar mentiras a través del lenguaje el cual tiene, sin duda, una parte primaria, por ser traidor del objeto que va a presentar. Sin embargo, más allá de las palabras, está la recuperación de una antropología del lenguaje que se extiende dentro de la cultura y no solo en el ámbito de la lingüística. Además, al vivificar lugares físicos e históricos, este pone de relieve la verdad del texto que depende exclusivamente de las capacidades de persuasión de la novela, destruyendo la conciencia crítica del lector para hacerle vivir la mentira como verdad y la verdad como mentira.
Migrant writings beyond mere transmission of facts
The essays focuses on writing as an act capable of translating the reality it deals with and at the same time of inventing stories: language, in fact, in accomplishing its primary role as a means for transmission, cannot but interfere with the true presentation of the object. Nevertheless language, digs into its anthropological significance beyond the actuality of words, and extends its purport to cultural issues –not only linguistic ones. It does not only vivify historical places and geographical settings, but, even more momentously, it highlights the truth of a text, which itself depends on the capacity of persuasion of the narration itself. It
thus annuls the reader’s critical conscience to let him experience invention as truth and truth as invention.
Scrittura migrante non solo come traduzione della realtà
Il saggio si focalizza sul concetto di scrittura nella sua capacità di tradurre la realtà e al contempo d’inventare menzogne attraverso il linguaggio che ha indubbiamente una parte primaria, essendo di per sé traditore nei confronti dell’oggetto da presentare. Tuttavia, al di là delle parole, vi è il recupero di una antropologia del linguaggio che spazia nell’ambito della cultura e non solo in quello della linguistica. Oltre a rendere vivi località storiche e spazi fisici, esso evidenzia la verità del testo che dipende esclusivamente dalle capacità di persuasione del romanzo, distruggendo la coscienza critica del lettore per fargli vivere la menzogna come verità e la verità come menzogna.
