Alla ricerca del nido. Pensieri e testimonianze di un emigrante di Pietro Toffolo e Le mie memorie scritte nell’isola della quarantina di Antonio De Piero sono due rari, preziosi esempi di scrittura popolare, che narrano le storie d’emigrazione di un piastrellista di Fanna e di un manovale di Cordenons, emigrati negli Stati Uniti nella prima metà del XX secolo.

Alla ricerca del nido. Pensieri e testimonianze di un emigrante by Pietro Toffolo and Le mie memorie scritte nell’isola della quarantina by Antonio De Piero are two rare and precious examples of folk literature which narrate the emigration stories of a tile-layer from Fanna and an unskilled worker from Cordenons who emigrated to the US in the first half of the 20th century.
