Sia come oggetto o come soggetto di narrazione, la donna nel corso dei secoli ha contribuito alla evoluzione, individuale e collettiva. Ciò le ha permesso di acquisire consapevolezza del proprio essere ben oltre le mura di casa, per spingersi in luoghi lontani, vincendo le insidie della distanza e della lingua. Un migrare che offre l’opportunità di viaggiare non solo nello spazio, ma dentro l’io.
Foreword
As both the objects and subjects of narration, over the centuries women have contributed to individual and collective development. This has enabled them to become aware of themselves beyond the domestic sphere and to travel to faraway places and face the difficulties of distance and language. Migration thus offers them the opportunity to travel both in space and within their inner selves.
