Keywords:
Beyond Borders: The Works and Life of Marosa di Giorgio
When read diachronically, the works of Marosa di Giorgio, the daughter of Tuscan emigrants to Uruguay, express a search to give voice to the erotic, through metaphors, images and similes that dangerously approach the erotic act and pathos without ever fully entering it. Rather than to the human world, her search leads to the natural world, since there it is possible to finally live free of illusions and taboos.
