Keywords:
cultura culinaria, Chipilo, emigrazione, linguaAbstract
Metis Flavors in Mexico: Gastronomic Elements of the Veneto Community in Chipilo
This study examines the culinary culture of Chipilo so as to single out its traditional aspects which have nevertheless been contaminated by the Mexican tradition. Like language, the cuisine and eating habits of a people define its main cultural traits, so much so that the experience of emigration always shows a certain unease in assimilating both the language and cuisine of the host country.
