Cibo e piacere nell’immaginario femminile canadese: Tenor of Love di Mary Di Michele
Keywords:
Food and Sex in Canadian Women’s Writing
The quest for female identity and authenticity present in a number of contemporary women’s works aims at reappropriating the figurative value of nourishment so as to subvert the conventional link between food, sexuality and creative mastery. The result is to restore women’s legitimacy as both desiring beings and creatrixes.
