‘La ragazza-uccello’ e ‘L’uccello danzante’: echi archetipici in un racconto friulano e una storia del Dreaming aborigeno australiano

Il saggio analizza due storie tradizionali, La ragazza-uccello e l’albero dalle mele d’oro raccontata in Friuli, e Bralgah, l’uccello danzante nell’Australia degli aborigeni, che presentano parecchie analogie a livello tematico. Entrambe raccontano di due giovani donne che subiscono una metamorfosi in uccello e presentano un importante aspetto d’iniziazione al principio spirituale femminile.
The Girl-Bird and the Dancing Bird: archetypal echoes in a Friulan tale and an Australian Aboriginal Dreaming story
The essay analyses two traditional short-stories, The Girl-Bird and the Tree with Golden Apples, told in Friuli, and Bralgah, the dancing bird, an Australian aboriginal women’s story, which oresent many analogies on the thematic-archetypal level. They both tell about two young (unmarried) women who undergo a metamorphosis in bird, presenting an important initiation motive to the feminine spiritual principle.
