Obsesión de la cultura, dinámica compleja en que el sujeto desafía límites con ansias de un más allá ignoto. Entre tantos autores que han intervenido el mito en cada siglo, se focalizará al legendario Odiseo / Ulises y su “océano”, en Homero, Dante, Joyce y Kazantzakis.

The article analyses the complex dynamics of a cultural obsession where the subject, anxious to move towards an unknown elsewhere, challenges all limits. Among the many authors who have been interested in myth in every century, attention will be focused on the legendary Odysseus / Ulysses and his “ocean” through the works of Homer, Dante, Joyce, Kazantzakis.

La cultura è sempre stata attratta dalla dinamica complessa nella quale il soggetto, ansioso di andare in un altrove ignoto, sfida ogni limite. Tra i numerosi autori che in ogni secolo si sono interessati al mito di Odisseo / Ulisse e sul suo “oceano”, ci si focalizzerà sulle opere di Omero, Dante, Kazantzakis, e Joyce.
