Un duplice anniversario Pasolini e Oltreoceano
Keywords:
migrazione, Pasolini, AmericheAbstract
A Double Anniversary: Pier Paolo Pasolini and Oltreoceano
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Oltreoceano, and of the fortieth anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s tragic death, the following essay highlights the relationship linking together Pasolini’s poetics and the concept of migration literature itself. Both the poet and the immigrant do indeed aspire to a common ground where one’s own traditions and those of the so-called ‘other’ may finally meet. Moving through multiple locations and expressive means they both aim at molding their inner self to broader relations and deeper contacts.
