Abstract

Les Nomades, deuxième roman de Bianca Zagolin, raconte une histoire d’amour dans le cadre de l’émigration au Canada. Pour expliquer l’échec de la liaison entre Philippe, jeune aristocrate d’origine écossaise, et Adalie, fille d’un médecin italien, sont évoquée de nombreuses références à l’univers tragique du mythe.


Interior Wanderings and Daily Tragedies in the Canadian Space: An Analysis of Bianca Zagolin’s Les Nomades
This article analyses the problems of emigration and human relations in Bianca Zagolin’s second novel, Les Nomades, which portrays the love story between Philippe, a young Scottish lord, and Adalie, the young daughter of an Italian doctor. The failure of their love story evokes numerous references to the tragic universe of myth.

Les Nomades, secondo romanzo di Bianca Zagolin, ripercorre l’avventura amorosa tra Philippe, un giovane aristocratico di origine scozzese, e Adalie, figlia di un medico italiano nel contesto dell’emigrazione in Canada. Nel presentare il fallimento della loro unione numerosi sono i riferimenti all’universo tragico del mito.
