dolor, memoria, madre ausenteAbstract
The Last Horizon
The poems that make up this collection reflect on pain as a manifestation that goes beyond the clinical dimension to reside in the intangible and also in one’s innermost depths. The manifestation of memory is another aspect present in these poems. While the first poem enquires about memory as a weapon that makes people bleed, the second makes use of it to understand childhood and the filial relationship with the mother. Finally, the third poem establishes a dialogue with the absent people and with the voids produced by goodbyes or emotional losses.
