In un rapido excursus, il saggio indaga le modalità secondo cui le Americhe, pur nella loro diversità geopolitica, trovano un punto di contatto nella rifondazione della dimensione religiosa. Il linguaggio – in cui sono evidenti le tracce dell’origine e dell’esperienza migratoria – si apre alla colonizzazione – ma anche al suo contrario –, a lotte e a tensioni etniche, a nazionalizzazioni.
Religion and Society in the Americas
In a short excursus, the essay investigates the ways in which the Americas, despite their geopolitical diversity, find a point of contact in re-establishing a religious dimension. The language – in which traces of origin and migratory experience are evident – opens up to colonization – and also to its opposite – to ethnic struggles and tensions, but finally to nationalizations.
