Abstract

L’articolo offre delle nuove prospettive su Strada Bianca (1988), romanzo postumo di Gianni Angelo Grohovaz completato già nel marzo 1952. Si concentra sulla visione sfumata di un immigrato italiano di fronte alla geografia selvaggia canadese che gli ispira nuovi e imprevisti progetti e vedute.


Ontario’s Ten Thousand Cathedrals: Gianni Angelo Grohovaz and the Forests of Canada
The article offers new perspectives on Strada Bianca (1988) by Gianni Angelo Grohovaz, a novel published posthumously but completed in March 1952. The focus is on a more nuanced vision of an Italian immigrant confronting the wild Canadian geography that inspires in him new and unforeseen views and projects.
