The article offers new perspectives on Strada Bianca (1988) by Gianni Angelo Grohovaz, a novel published posthumously but completed in March 1952. The focus is on a more nuanced vision of an Italian immigrant confronting the wild Canadian geography that inspires in him new and unforeseen views and projects.
