Il saggio esamina le relazioni fra poesia e fotografia nel contesto autobiografico delle persone interessate al fenomeno dell’emigrazione. Nonostante la grande diversità dei linguaggi, emergono delle analogie nelle modalità di rappresentazione ed autorappresentazione. Da questo punto di vista i ritratti fotografici e le poesie hanno come fine ultimo quello di scrivere, con le immagini o con le parole, la storia dell’anima.
The Images and Memories of Migrant Women
This essay examines the relationship between poetry and photography in the autobiographies of people interested in emigration. Despite the variety of languages, there are some analogies in representation and self-representation. Photographic portraits and poems both have the ultimate aim of writing the history of the soul through images or words.
