Barbarians in tails. The dress code in the immigration theorists in Argentina
This paper aims to relate the dress code with the phenomenon of immigration in Argentina in the nineteenth century. In fact, the two great theorists of immigration in Argentina, Juan Bautista Alberdi and Domingo F. Sarmiento, are also the authors that most have focused on the language of fashion.
