Abstract

Primo De Luca, console onorario del Canada a Udine, ricorda i momenti salienti dell'importante opera di ricostruzione avvenuta dopo il terremoto del 6 maggio 1976 grazie agli aiuti canadesi. Il paese nordamericano, profondamente legato al Friuli in virtù dell'immigrazione, ha dato un impulso importante alla rinascita post-terremoto.

Earthquake of 1976. From Canada to Friuli. A witness
Primo De Luca, honorary consul of Canada to Udine, remembers the salient moments of the important work of reconstruction happened after the earthquake of May 6 th 1976 thanks to the Canadian helps. The North American country, deeply tied up to the Friuli in virtue of the immigration, has given an important impulse to the rebirth post-earthquake.
